Etsy Seller Feature R.Quick Goods

Today's Etsy Seller Feature is on Renee Quick from R.Quick Goods www.rquick.etsy.com
Renee is base in Orange Park, FL and has a fabulous selection of fun vintage finds including clothes, jewelry and housewares.Renee loves all eras and styles but she especially loves vintage jewelry. She decided to sell vintage for people like her who are always on the quest for a great deal for a beautiful item with a history. The vintage items that she sells come from her Grandmother, estate sales, flea markets and any good leads that she gets.

Here are a few questions I asked her:

4. Do you have a favorite vintage style?
In clothing I love the prim styles of the 50's. Dresses are my thing =) In jewelry anything goes!!

5. Do you sell on Etsy full time?
Well I have a part time job outside of Etsy and lucky for me I can do alot of my shop stuff there. But Etsy is only part time for right now.

6. If you also have a "real" job, what do you do?
I am the in home support for a woman w/Downs Syndrome. Meaning I cook her meals, play games, rock out to country music w/her, and when needed help clean her house. I love it and the woman I work with is a real shot of life.

7.Where do you find inspiration for your products?
I love to look for special treasures where you would not expect like craigslist, goodwill, and attics.

8.What do you love about your business?
I love getting the extra money to fund my Etsy habit, searching for the perfect items, and of course shopping while working is a plus.

9.What is your favorite product right now?
In my shop its this gorgeous Eel Skin Purse

10.What makes you unique at Etsy?
Well I carry a selection of vintage jewelry, clothes and housewares. But I also handmake some of the jewelry as a hobby. Plus my prices are very reasonable and my shipping is extra fast(form what i'm told).

11. Any advice for a crafter just starting out?
Take your time and do your research. Buy some items to get feedback and don't be to proud to retake your pictures. You never know whos looking! And use the forums to your advantage!
Just be patient when starting your shop. Never stop learning everything you can about your craft and your business.
