I recently came across xkcd "a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language".
It was started by Randall Munroe who used to work at NASA and is very funny in a "Far Side" kind of way. A lot of the comics would work well as cards, these two would make cute Valentines/Romantic cards.

I love this comic! My husband is an engineer and he checks it constantly. Sometimes he has to explain the sciencey jokes to my little artist's brain!

I follow your site regularly.You guys put some very innovative posts.I like this post also.I like reading comics but this one entirely different way of representing the idea.Nice cards but I like the idea second card more.
